Background: Facing the challenge of inadequate lighting along a critical transportation corridor in Africa, the local authorities sought to improve safety and visibility along the route, especially during nighttime hours. To address this, a solar street lighting solution was chosen for its sustainable and energy-efficient features.
Solution: The selected solar street lighting system features 8-meter double-arm poles equipped with 200W LED light sources. The solar panels integrated into each fixture harness solar energy during the day, ensuring a reliable and eco-friendly power source. The 200W LED lights provide high-intensity illumination, enhancing visibility and safety along the roadway.
